Malena







Info

Malena is a 2000 Italian drama/romance film starring Monica Bellucci and Giuseppe Sulfaro. It was directed and written by Giuseppe Tornatore from a story by Luciano Vincenzoni.

Criticised for its depiction of teenage sexuality, as well as the paucity of dialogue, Malиna was successful in Europe, but the movie itself was altered by its North American distribution company Fine Line Features, and several scenes were cut. The film did poorly in few United States movie theatres, despite good reviews. As of 2005, only the edited version is available for commercial purchase on DVD in North America.

The film nonetheless is credited with officially introducing Anglophone audiences to Italian actress Bellucci (whose career had previously been limited to European films), who went on to make a number of high-profile American film appearances.

The score by Ennio Morricone was nominated for an Academy Award.

Red Cliff (2008)







In the early third century, the land of Wu is invaded by the warlord Cao Cao and his million soldiers. The ruler of Wu, Sun Quan, calls on the rival warlord Liu Bei for help, but their two armies are still badly outnumbered. However, the Wu strategist Zhou Yu sees that Cao Cao's army is unused to battling on the sea, which may just give them a chance if they can exploit this weakness properly.

Kawin Kontrak (2008)





Kisah 3 cowok yang ingin mengeksplor kejantanannya ini dikemas dengan gaya bercerita yang asik, lucu dengan dialog yang segar dan permainan ekspresi pemain yang pas. Dari segi cerita cukup lucu, walau ada beberapa bagian yang kurang penting dan terlalu dibuat-buat.


Akting pemain? Lukman Sardi menunjukkan kelasnya sebagai aktor hebat dengan akting primanya sbg Kang Sono. Dimas Aditya sbg pendatang baru cukup sukses memerankan tokoh Rama dengan akting yang tidak buruk. Ricky Harun dan Herichan juga lumayan. Dinda Kanyadewi, Masayu Anastasia, Wiwid berakting bagus sebagai cewek-cewek desa yang dikawin kontrak. Sinematografi film ini bagus banget deh. Gw suka banget suasana desa dengan pemandangannya yang bagus sekali. Suasana desa, hamparan sawah, pemandangan gunung, pemukiman desa yang merakyat, waaah bagus deh pokoknya.
cewe2nya yg top tuh si Masayu sama yg jadi pasangannya Ricky Harun, anjritt mukanya binal abisss….
Lukman Sardi oke banget! Wiwid Gunawan hot beneeerrrr…. ngiler-ngiler deh! Surprisingly, Ricky Harun oke banget aktingnya! Jago mainin ekspresi tanpa bikin jadi aneh…. Hebat lah!

Scene berikutnya menceritakan mengenai dua kakak beradik, Nino (Ramon) dan Aldo (Ibnu Jamil). Nino adalah lelaki yang weird, berpenampilan agak aneh. Tidak seperti Aldo, kakaknya yang lebih modis dan supel. Tidak heran, mudah bagi Aldo untuk menggaet gadis yang diinginkannya. Termasuk gadis cantik bernama Virnie (Dewi Persik). Nino yang berperilaku aneh ternyata juga sangat menyukai Virnie. Nino seringkali mengintip mereka berdua di rumah. Hingga pada puncaknya, Nino memiliki niat untuk merebut Virnie dari kakaknya sendiri.

Dari surfing di internet, Nino menemukan teori tali pocong perawan, dimana tali tersebut memiliki kekuatan untuk menarik hati seorang wanita. Cara mendapatkannya pun tidak biasa, harus menggali kubur sang perawan yang meninggal dengan tangan. Lalu, mengambil tali kain kafan dengan mulut.

Rasa cintanya Nino kepada Virnie membuat dia tidak dapat berfikir jernih lagi. Dicarinya perawan yang baru meninggal. Setelah mendapatkan tali pocong perawan, selanjutnya tali tersebut di rendam dan airnya akan diberikan kepada virnie.

Apakah Nino berhasil merebut Virnie dengan tali pocong perawannya?

Interesting comedy movie with high quality video and cute actress, you will never sleep watching this. I personally really love the story line but "hate" a playgirl like Mi Su in this movie. Its kinda relate to my personal experience. Anyway, thumbs up and please do enjoy the movie!


Mi-Su Shin is beautiful and intelligent. She works as an advertising executive and also has a unique theory on dating that she uses to pick out her perfect man. Her secret is to have an open mind and meet as many different candidates as possible: an extremely wealthy man, nerdish grad student who may pass the ultra difficult Korean bar exam, an up-and-coming rapper, and a neighbor who can he­lp her with a huge advertising project. She has each of these men wrapped around her finger, as she uses a chameleon like personas to fit in with each guy. She then tries to gage the potential of each of her suitors, but unfortunately for Mi-Su, her plan goes horribly awry as her web of indiscretion comes out into the open. Will there be a guy left for Mi-Su?
